ATMOS X AIR MAX 1 B ‘SAFARI’

In 2002, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the silhouette, Nike enlisted Japanese retailer atmos to create an Air Max 1. The outcome was this Air Max 1 B ‘Atmos Safari.’ Inspired by Tinker Hatfield’s 1987 Air Safari logo, it features a mudguard and knee collar Safari print, toe canvas, upper suede, and a gum outsole. It also shows on the lateral forefoot a miniature Swoosh.
