AIR MAX 1 WMNS PREMIUM ‘AIR MAX DAY – WABI-SABI’

The Japanese philosophy of embracing imperfection inspired the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Wabi-Sabi.’ With exposed stitching throughout the upper, a playful mix of color blocking appears in unexpected combinations. The canvas base in off-white delivers a forest-green Swoosh while the overlay at the midfoot appears in powder pink. Additional color blocking in gold, olive and brown arrives on the midfoot, heel overlay and split mudguard. Comfort and grip underfoot are ensured by the cream rubber midsole atop a gum rubber outsole. The lateral heel delivers a nod to the Air Max’s 35th anniversary with a red-stitched ‘XXXV’ and alternating tongue tags provide additional branding. This colorway was available only in Asia Pacific and Latin America regions.
